Melvin Wine: Hannah at the Springhouse:  Melvin Wine is was born on April 20, 1909 in Braxton County, West Virginia.  Bob wine, his father, was a respected fiddler and is the source of a large part of Melvin's repertoire.  Melvin says that most of his older, unusual tunes have come down from his great grandfather, Smitty Wine.   Ron Mullennex, banjo and Gerry Milnes, guitar, and banjo on tracks 2, 14, 19.
